Tessell leverages Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Managed Disks for the data infrastructure.
Tessell supports two types of compute shapes.
High-performance: These are NVMe-based shapes such as
Lsv3andLasv3series that provide unparalleled IOPS.Standard: These shapes utilize cloud storage such as Premium SSDs and Ultra SSDs.
You can choose an Azure Virtual Network of your choice to attach to the VM. It can be either a public or private VNet.
The Tessell Availability Machine protects the data by taking regular snapshots and transaction log backups. The Availability Machine utilizes Azure Snapshots and Azure Blob Storage for this purpose.
