Not at all.

Many people start by replicating their production database to Tessell, which then serves as a DR (disaster recovery) setup. But because of the lack of performance constraints, customers can then create full backups off of their secondary site, mask and distribute data, run rich performance and financial analytics/reports, etc. As a result, the DR setup doubles up as a test master for the secondary environments.
